Girona-Costa Brava Airport concluded January 2026 with 35,462 passengers, marking an 8.2% decrease compared to the same month last year, according to Aena.

The decline was also evident in flight activity, with 1,292 operations recorded in January, representing a 3.9% drop from 2025 levels.
This downward trend at the Vilobí d'Onyar facility stands in stark contrast to Barcelona-El Prat Airport, which reached a historic high of 2.8 million passengers during the same period.
