Girona Auditorium and Congress Center celebrates 20th anniversary with special events

The venue hosts concerts by Miguel Poveda and Lise Davidsen to mark two decades of cultural and business excellence.

The Girona Auditorium and Congress Center will commemorate its 20th anniversary from May 22nd to 24th with a special program featuring music, conferences, and performing arts.

The celebration begins on Friday, May 22nd, with a professional session on congress tourism featuring Rob Davison. Cultural highlights include a performance by tightrope walker Mariona Moya, known as La Corcoles, and the premiere of Desglaç by Miguel Poveda.
On Saturday, May 23rd, soprano Lise Davidsen will perform a unique concert in Catalonia, following a lecture on artificial intelligence. The festivities conclude on Sunday with the RESSÒ participatory concert, produced by Girona Jazz Project featuring Mazoni and Cala Vento.

Music as a cultural and social engine, and congresses as spaces for the transmission of knowledge, innovation, and legacy for citizens.

Since opening in May 2006, the facility in Girona has welcomed nearly 1.9 million visitors and hosted over 2,400 concerts and 1,200 congresses, becoming a key institution in the region.
