The Barri Vell of Girona will once again be the backdrop for a major film production. This time, it is Disney's live-action film, Enredados (Tangled), which already generated anticipation with a casting call in late April at the Palau de Fires.
Filming will take place between July 20th and August 3rd, approximately between 8 AM and 7 PM. The production will move across various city locations.
Specific filming locations include Carrer dels Manaies (side of the Cathedral stairs), the Passeig Arqueològic (fountain area and Cathedral gardens), the Plaça i Pujada de la Catedral, Pujada de Sant Domènec, and a section of the Wall between Torre de Sant Domènec and Torre Gironella. Filming will also occur inside the Cathedral for three days.
While it is not yet known which main actors will visit Girona, it is confirmed that Teagan Croft will play Rapunzel, and Milo Manheim, Kathryn Hahn, and Diego Luna will have significant roles.
