Girona hosts Strenes Festival 2026 with a star-studded musical lineup

Sílvia Pérez Cruz and Joan Dausà lead the spring festival in Girona and Salt with several sold-out shows.

The Strenes Festival 2026 will take over Girona and Salt from March 27 to May 3, featuring some of the most prominent names in the Catalan music scene.

The event kicks off with Sílvia Pérez Cruz performing at the Auditori de Girona on March 27 and 28. On the same opening night, La Ludwig Band will take the stage at La Mirona in Salt.
Throughout April, the festival will host renowned artists such as Luz Casal, Macaco, and Maria Arnal. A major highlight is the return of Lax'n'Busto with original singer Pemi Fortuny on April 24, followed by a sold-out show by Joan Dausà at the Fontajau Arena on April 25.
The festival concludes in May with performances by Els Amics de les Arts, celebrating their 20th anniversary on May 2, and Buhos, who will close the event on May 3.
