Girona rent prices rise by 2.18% as new contracts plummet

The API College of Estate Agents has confirmed that average rental prices in Girona grew by 2.18% in 2025, even as market activity saw a significant decline.

The price increase in the Girona region remained below the national inflation rate of 2.7%. Despite this, the market is struggling with a sharp drop in volume, with only 9,778 contracts signed, a 10.94% decrease compared to the previous year.
In Girona city, average monthly rent reached 823.52 euros. Meanwhile, Tossa de Mar saw the highest spike in the region, with prices jumping 16.2% to an average of 703.75 euros.
