The sports facilities have undergone a renovation of their synthetic material and have been homologated by the Catalan Athletics Federation. These tracks resumed federated activity last Sunday with the individual and club championship of Girona, after sixteen years without federated use.

Before the absolute competition, the Girona track will host the U23 and U18 championship on June 21st. The Palau-sacosta Sports Complex was previously the venue for the absolute Catalan championship in 2001.

Furthermore, the Ciutat de Barcelona meeting has a confirmed date: it will take place on July 7th at the Joan Serrahima Stadium.
