The Government presented on Monday the winning architectural proposal for the future Girona health campus, a major infrastructure project scheduled to be completed by 2031.

The project, titled Devesa de Salut 21, was designed by a consortium including Pinearq, Brullet de Luna i associats, and PEGI Engineering. It features a green urban integration with a central boulevard and landscaped squares connecting the facility to the city of Girona.

"The presentation of this proposal is an amendment against skepticism and certifies that the project is progressing at a good pace."

Albert Dalmau · Minister of the Presidency
The complex will consist of low-rise buildings to match the surrounding neighborhood's height. A key goal of the development is to achieve zero emissions by utilizing renewable energy sources, creating a sustainable environment for the future Trueta Hospital.
