Girona FC enters the final stage of the season with a demanding schedule, where Míchel Sánchez's men will have to face most of the top-ranked teams in the competition.

Following this Saturday's visit to Osasuna, the red-and-whites will enter a critical phase. Due to a schedule adjustment in rounds 32 and 33, the team will alternate between home and away games until the end of the season. The three matches following the international break will be particularly tough: Villarreal at Montilivi, Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu, and Betis back at home.
These three clashes against the fourth, second, and fifth-placed teams will determine the team's true aspirations. It is worth noting that during the first half of the season, Girona suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat against Villarreal, a result they will now look to avenge.
The final stretch will also include visits to Mestalla to play Valencia and Rayo Vallecano's stadium. The league will conclude at Montilivi against Elche, right after a penultimate matchday visit to Simeone's Atlético de Madrid.
