The Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board organized an exclusive event in Paris this Wednesday for twenty agents and journalists to showcase its current tourism offerings.

The Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board, part of the Diputació de Girona, held the event “Déjeuner Presse – Destination Costa Brava Gérone” in Paris. The event was aimed at twenty travel agents, journalists, and specialized media prescribers to present the main novelties of the destination's tourist offer for the current year.

"The meeting allows us to show the regeneration and modernization of the tourist offer of the destination and introduce new projects, and original and quality services."

Joan Plana · Second Vice President of the Tourism Board
Attending the event were Joan Plana, second vice president of the Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board, and Norbert Bes, the entity's director. Plana highlighted the importance of the French market, noting that currently one in three foreign tourists visiting the destination is French, considering them “an essential client for our sector”.
The event concluded with a high-level gastronomic cocktail prepared by two chefs: the Empordà cook Quim Casellas, from the Casamar restaurant in Llafranc, and the French chef Ludovic Dubois, from the Poussin restaurant in Paris, paired with a selection of wines from the DO Empordà.
