The company presented its work to the Minister for European Union and Foreign Action during a visit to the Hipra Campus facilities. The main goal of these initiatives, such as the SPEEDCELL project, is to strengthen Europe's production autonomy and avoid dependence on manufacturers from third countries during crises.
In addition to pandemic preparedness, the pharmaceutical company is part of the EU FAB program, selected to maintain the industrial capacity needed to produce vaccines immediately. The company is also researching solutions for zoonotic diseases, such as a human vaccine against the West Nile virus, and animal health projects like VAX4ASF to combat African swine fever.

The company advocates for the One Health approach, which integrates human, animal, and environmental health, as the foundation of its knowledge accumulated over more than fifty years. This strategy seeks to strengthen the European primary sector through veterinary vaccination, which helps reduce costs and improve livestock competitiveness.
