Marc Parrot Kicks Off 10th 'Concerts de Tornada' in Medinyà

The musician delivered a solo performance at Plaça del Castell, launching a series of musical events across the Gironès region.

Musician Marc Parrot yesterday inaugurated the tenth edition of the 'Concerts de Tornada' in Medinyà with a solo recital held at the Plaça del Castell.

The artist, known for his work as a musician, composer, producer, and sound engineer, revisited some of the most iconic songs from his career. This performance in Medinyà serves as the starting point for a cultural initiative that will extend until September 19th, featuring seven concerts scheduled across five municipalities in the Llera del Ter region.
The event in Medinyà follows Parrot's participation in the Porta Ferrada Festival in Sant Feliu de Guíxols on August 8th, where he performed with the Quartet Brossa.
The 'Concerts de Tornada' are celebrating their tenth anniversary with a lineup that includes performances in Bordils, Flaçà, Madremanya, Medinyà, and Sant Joan de Mollet, between August 21st and September 19th.
The remaining concerts feature Ernest Prana on Thursday, August 27th, in Bordils; Raquel Lúa on Friday, September 4th, in Flaçà; Xiomara Abello on Saturday, September 5th, in Madremanya; Terrae on Thursday, September 10th, in Bordils; Roger Padrós on Saturday, September 12th, in Sant Joan de Mollet; and Maria Hein on Saturday, September 19th, in Madremanya.
