The Department of Education and Vocational Training announced via a statement that Esther Niubó must significantly reduce her daily activity to undergo an operation. This situation requires her to temporarily delegate her executive responsibilities.

Regarding the Minister's representational duties, the Minister of the Presidency, Albert Dalmau, will assume these functions. Public events requiring Niubó's presence will be covered by other members of the Government.
