Several residents of Girona have reported the accumulation of trash along the sides of the C-255 road, connecting the Pont Major neighborhood to Campdorà, allegedly due to waste loss during transport.

The source of the problem, according to the complainants, appears to be the use of open-top garbage trucks. These vehicles, while traveling towards the Campdorà incinerator, allegedly lose some of the waste, which ends up scattered along the roadside of the C-255.
The area with the highest concentration of accumulated waste is located on the hillside along one side of the road, just before reaching the premises of a construction company and a restaurant, according to Girona residents.

The accumulation of debris is visible at various points along the route, including the banks of the Ter river and the area behind the old gas station at the exit of Pont Major.

This situation raises concerns among residents, who see an important road gradually deteriorating due to the constant presence of waste, affecting both the local image and the environment in the Gironès region.
