Both Girona B and Olot faced a difficult weekend in the 2a FEF division, failing to pick up points in their respective matchday 28 fixtures.

In Vidreres, Girona B was defeated 0-1 by Alcoyano, a direct rival for the promotion play-off spots. A 72nd-minute goal by Solbes ended a five-match unbeaten run for Quique Álvarez's side, leaving them five points adrift of the top five.
Meanwhile, Olot suffered a 2-1 loss away at Porreres. Despite a late penalty converted by Enri, goals from Bengoetxea and Jaraíz secured the win for the home side. Roger Vidal's team has now lost three consecutive matches, moving closer to the relegation zone.
The current standings leave Olot just two points above the play-out spot and four points clear of direct relegation to the 3a FEF division, marking a concerning trend for the Garrotxa-based club.
