The Mossos d'Esquadra police force has arrested two individuals and reported five others, all employees of the Consorci de Transport Sanitari (CTS), for an attack on fourteen vehicles in Girona on February 9th.

The suspects allegedly broke into the company's warehouse around 11:00 PM, damaging thirteen ambulances and a rapid intervention vehicle. The vandalism, which included punctured tires and smashed windshields, occurred during an ongoing labor dispute. The total financial impact is estimated at 400,000 euros due to repair costs and business interruption.
Following the incident, the company was forced to halt operations immediately. Over 200 planned medical services could not be carried out, and twenty staff members were unable to work. The investigation led to the arrests on February 18th, involving a 27-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman.
The detainees have been released after giving statements to the police and will appear before a judge when summoned. All seven individuals face criminal charges for property damage in the city of Girona.
