The Correllengua Agermanat has continued its journey across Catalonia, defying adverse weather conditions, with sections concluding today in Oliana and Girona, despite a heavy hailstorm and rain.

The event, which began yesterday in Prada, carries the flame of the Catalan language from north to south of the country. The two planned routes have been affected by bad weather, including a significant hailstorm shortly after departing from La Seu d'Urgell, which surprised participants.

"We are not aborting the mission!"

Despite the setbacks, the organization has reiterated its determination to continue with the race. In Girona, where the flame's arrival is scheduled for 7:20 PM, the final activities, including the reading of a manifesto and the Àliga dance, have been moved to the porch of the Escola Eiximenis due to the rain.
The Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya had issued a warning for severe weather, with the possibility of hail larger than two centimeters, mainly in the Berguedà region. However, there were no specific warnings for Alt Urgell or Gironès, the areas where the incidents occurred.
