The event aims to support communities severely affected by the climate crisis, where droughts impact daily life and crop yields. The Girona Provincial Council is backing the initiative, with institutional coordination and staff participation in the various routes.
Participants can choose from four distances: 100, 55, 25, and 10 kilometers. Most routes start in Olot, while the shortest one begins in Santa Cristina d'Aro. All paths lead to the final destination in Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
“"The Trailwalker highlights the value of solidarity and collective commitment."
Over the years, the Trailwalker has raised more than eight million euros with the help of 35,000 participants. This year's edition features artwork by Óscar Alonso (Setanta-dos Kilos) and the involvement of Paralympic champion Elena Congost as the event's ambassador.
