The Girona region is set to host the 15th edition of the Trailwalker on April 18 and 19, a solidarity challenge along the Greenways to improve global access to safe drinking water.

The event aims to support communities severely affected by the climate crisis, where droughts impact daily life and crop yields. The Girona Provincial Council is backing the initiative, with institutional coordination and staff participation in the various routes.
Participants can choose from four distances: 100, 55, 25, and 10 kilometers. Most routes start in Olot, while the shortest one begins in Santa Cristina d'Aro. All paths lead to the final destination in Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

"The Trailwalker highlights the value of solidarity and collective commitment."
