The Catalan Firefighters rescued two minors in the early hours of Saturday morning after they became trapped in a difficult-to-access mountain area in Vilallonga de Ter, located in the Ripollès region.

The emergency call was received at 10:16 PM on Friday. One of the youths reported that his companion had slipped near a ravine while they were heading to a camping spot. Due to the dangerous terrain and lack of visibility, they were unable to move from their position.
Five fire crews, including mountain rescue specialists, were deployed to the scene. The rescue operation was hampered by snow covering the forest tracks, making the approach to the site particularly challenging for the emergency teams.

"The youth who slipped did not actually fall down the slope, which prevented more serious consequences."
