The speech therapist Neus Martí, diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024, found in artistic creation a space for refuge and expression during her treatment. The presentation took place at Clínica Girona, a center where she had previously worked as a healthcare professional.

The book, titled El cor de les meves tetes (The Heart of My Tits), narrates the disease process, focusing on the fundamental role of the “tribe,” spirituality, art, and humor as tools for emotional repair. This literary account is accompanied by visual works from various female painters.

The project was realized thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign on Verkami, supported by 130 patrons. During the event, the books published by Editorial Gorbs and rewards were delivered to the contributors.

This presentation is framed within the week of the World Cancer Day, highlighting the importance of awareness and support in the fight against the disease.
