Yesterday marked the presentation event for the virtual language pairs participating in this new edition of the program. Around thirty participants, both volunteers and learners, attended the meeting. For many, this is their first time participating in VxL, and the event served to familiarize them with the program's operation, available resources for meetings, and the benefits of the VxL card.
This tenth edition starts with 45 language pairs who will meet for one hour per week to practice conversation in Catalan. The virtual modality allows participants to overcome geographical distances, connecting individuals from various locations such as France, Scotland, Italy, Costa Rica, Mexico, Germany, or Ireland, among others.
The main goal for participants is to gain confidence in speaking Catalan and integrate it into their daily lives. Registration for the program remains open year-round, allowing for the formation of new virtual language pairs throughout the course.
