Sarrià de Ter completes 576,000 euro water network upgrade on Firal Street

The project, co-funded by the ACA and CATSA, will improve water pressure and reduce the risk of future leaks.

The Sarrià de Ter Town Council has completed the renovation of the drinking water network on Firal Street this week, following a total investment of 576,603 euros.

The works on Firal Street involved replacing old pipes and optimizing connections. According to the Sarrià de Ter Town Council, the main goal is to improve water pressure and quality for residents while reducing the risk of network failures.

The intervention will help preserve water reserves and prevent future breakdowns in this section of the municipality.

The project cost 576,603.79 euros and was co-funded by the Catalan Water Agency (ACA), providing 300,000 euros, and CATSA, which contributed 276,603.79 euros.
With the street repainting finished, local bus services will return to their normal route starting Wednesday, February 11. Local authorities thanked residents for their patience during the construction period.
