The 5th Lluçanès Artisanal Ratafia Contest will be held on September 28th in Sant Agustí de Lluçanès, as part of the Hostal del Vilar Fair 2026. The event aims to highlight the traditional production of this beverage and promote the region's gastronomic culture.

The Consorci del Lluçanès, along with the Sant Agustí de Lluçanès Town Council and Cal Siller, are organizing this initiative for its fifth year. The primary goal is to showcase the quality of artisanal ratafia and promote the products and gastronomic heritage of the Lluçanès region.
Participants must submit 0.5 liters of homemade ratafia, produced in 2025 or 2026. Bottles should be glass, without labels or any identifying marks. Submissions can be made at the Consorci del Lluçanès, located at C/ Vell, 3, Santa Creu de Jutglar (Olost), from September 21st to 25th, between 9 AM and 3 PM. Entries will also be accepted at the Hostal del Vilar Fair, in Plans de l’Hostal del Vilar, Sant Agustí de Lluçanès, on September 28th, between 10 AM and 11 AM.
Once the jury's deliberation begins, no further entries will be accepted. All submitted ratafias will be available for tasting at a free public event on September 28th at 1 PM, during the fair. This activity will allow attendees to discover the various creations and enjoy one of the most cherished culinary traditions of the Lluçanès.
A specialized jury, composed of professionals from the gastronomic and journalistic fields, will evaluate the entries. The winning ratafia will receive the Best Ratafia Award, consisting of a hamper of local Lluçanès products valued at 100 euros. The award ceremony will take place from 1 PM on September 28th, during the fair.
