The Lluçanès region is launching an innovative 'library of things' to promote shared consumption and waste reduction, with a public meeting scheduled for April 20 in Prats de Lluçanès.

This proposal's main objective is to prevent the unnecessary purchase of sporadically used items, which often end up taking up space and generating waste. The idea is to create a space where citizens can access these items communally, thus fostering a more sustainable and responsible consumption model.
The project, supported by the Prats de Lluçanès City Council, the Lluçanès Consortium, and the Lluçanès Commonwealth, also receives assistance from Nusos Cooperativa and the Rezero Foundation. A volunteer-led working group has been crucial in designing and animating this initiative, which now seeks the involvement of more people to bring it to fruition.
To open up citizen participation and gather new ideas and energy, the working group has called an open meeting for everyone. This gathering will take place next Monday, April 20, at 5:00 PM at the Teatre Orient in Prats de Lluçanès.

Many small people, in small places, doing small things, can change the world.
