The Local Police of Arenys de Mar has launched a new speed control campaign in various parts of the town, which will run until October 22nd.

This initiative is possible thanks to the temporary loan of a radar device by the Servei Català de Trànsit (Catalan Traffic Service). The Local Police can use this equipment up to four times a year.
The main objective of the radar is to gather statistics on traffic volume and study vehicle circulation through the town's streets to improve overall mobility. Additionally, it is used to sanction drivers who clearly exceed the established speed limits.
