The Maresme and Selva Health Corporation has moved several non-clinical services from the Calella Hospital to an adjacent building this September, freeing up space for clinical use.

This action has allowed for the repurposing of various hospital areas for clinical activities, addressing current space demands while awaiting the new Calella Hospital project.
The new location now houses departments such as Corporate Social Responsibility, the Public Procurement and Legal Advisory unit, and the Billing, Accounting, and General Services departments. The building also includes a classroom and a simulation room for training residents and staff.
The property, situated next to the hospital, was formerly the headquarters of SetTravel Viatges. This proximity facilitates coordination between the relocated services and other organizational areas.
The Corporation has signed a ten-year lease agreement. Prior to the move, the property owner completed the necessary fireproofing work. The Corporation has adapted the space, with an investment of approximately 300,000 euros, for its new functions, including facilities, connectivity, and furniture. As the building was previously used for offices, a full renovation was not required.
