The initiative aims to give a voice to the youngest residents, allowing them to express their opinions and proposals to get involved in the town's life. Informative letters have been sent to families, and a presentation video featuring the children themselves has been created, which will be shown in school workshops.
The call is open to all children in Canet de Mar who are in 5th or 6th grade, regardless of whether they attend schools within the municipality or in another town.
Children attending schools in Canet de Mar can submit their applications through their school. For residents of Canet who study elsewhere, families must complete a registration form before Sunday, October 18, 2026.
This procedure aims to ensure that all children in the municipality who meet the requirements have the opportunity to be part of the Council.
To encourage participation, a video has been produced where the children themselves explain the project. This video will be shown during workshops organized in schools to introduce the Council to its future participants.
