Calella Boosts Healthcare Satisfaction and Launches Youth Support Service

The Calella City Council and the Catalan Health Service have confirmed a positive trend in public services for 2025, highlighting improved medical ratings and new mental health resources.

Satisfaction rates for primary care centers managed by the Maresme and Selva Health Corporation have seen a notable increase. In Calella, user ratings rose from 7.77 in 2024 to 8.11 this year, placing the city above the Catalonia average.
Additionally, the local government has introduced Escolta Jove, a psychological support service for residents aged 12 to 30. Located at Can Saleta, the service provides free individual counseling every Wednesday to address emotional well-being and personal concerns.
Beyond healthcare, Tordera is considering joining the Vescomtat de Cabrera historical project, while Tossa de Mar recently concluded its Carnival season with a record-breaking 1,600 participants in the final parade.
