The Catalan Fire Department extinguished a fire late Saturday night that completely destroyed a ground-floor apartment in Mataró, specifically in the Pla d'en Boet district.

Emergency services received the alert at 10:44 PM regarding a fire on Passatge de Jaume II el Just. The flames spread along the building's facade from the living room window, which sustained the most significant damage.
The resident managed to escape the building safely. While six fire crews worked to control the blaze, neighbors were ordered to stay indoors. The Medical Emergency System (SEM) treated two individuals at the scene, but no serious injuries were reported.
