The Local Police of Malgrat de Mar have prevented an attempted occupation at the former Palm Beach nightclub, located in the Sant Roc Shopping Center, following a citizen report.

The incident occurred last week when a call alerted officers to the presence of unauthorized individuals inside the establishment. Upon arriving at the Passeig Marítim, two patrols inspected the building and located four individuals who had allegedly accessed the premises using a ladder at the rear of the building.
According to municipal sources, the identified individuals have police records and are subject to various restraining orders, as well as prohibitions regarding the possession of weapons. All four have been reported for violations of the citizen security law.
Additionally, one of the individuals was also reported for possession of narcotic substances. Following the police intervention, the property owners have reinforced the access points to prevent further attempts at illegal entry.
