Since 2020, the program has successfully reopened an average of two new businesses each month in the capital of Maresme, benefiting a total of 161 establishments. The initiative targets both owners of vacant premises and entrepreneurs starting new economic activities.
Initially launched in 2017, the project has evolved into a comprehensive support model. Since 2024, it integrates municipal services and those of TecnoCampus in areas such as entrepreneurship, employment, business consulting, and commercial promotion.
The 2026 call offers aid to owners of vacant premises equivalent to the amount of the 2026 IBI (Property Tax), with a maximum of €1,000. New business owners can receive up to €1,500 to cover initial startup costs.
Additionally, €1,680 from the PAI/EDIL de Cerdanyola project will be used to enhance the program's communication within the neighborhood, aiming to increase participation and stimulate economic activity.
Beyond financial support, 'Aixequem Persianes' provides business consulting, administrative process assistance, training, hiring guidance, and specialized technical support for the creation and consolidation of businesses.
