The local media group Capgròs has announced the latest edition of the Manuel Cusachs Santes Story Contest in Mataró, inviting writers to create children's tales centered around the city's main festival.

Participants must be over 16 years old and submit original, unpublished stories written in Catalan. The main requirement is that the plot must feature the Les Santes festival of Mataró, referencing its traditional events or iconic figures.
The winning entry will receive a 300 euro prize and will be published with professional illustrations in Capgròs magazine. Submissions are open until May 10, 2026, and must be sent digitally to the organization.
The jury's decision will be revealed on June 1, with the official award ceremony and book presentation scheduled for July, just before the start of the annual festivities.
