Authors Albert Calls and Damià del Clot have published Dos morts i mig. Un crim ultra al Maresme, a detailed investigation into the November 20, 1980, murder of two young people in Cabrera de Mar.

The book recounts how members of the far-right group Fuerza Nueva targeted three youths from Mataró. In the woods of Agell, José Muñoz and Juana Cao were shot dead, while Antonio Camacho survived to provide the testimony that prevented the crime from remaining hidden.

"It is a journalistic report, but also history and non-fiction noir."

The investigation reveals links between the perpetrators and the Civil Guard, suggesting the crime was part of a broader wave of political violence leading up to the February 23 coup attempt. The authors aim to restore the memory of the victims, whose stories were largely ignored by the media and institutions for over four decades.
