One dead, one seriously injured in head-on collision on C-63 in Lloret de Mar

One dead and one seriously injured is the toll of a major traffic accident that occurred this Monday afternoon on the C-63 road, within the municipality of Lloret de Mar.

The incident occurred at kilometer 3.2 of this road, where a car and an SUV collided head-on for reasons that are still under investigation. The Mossos d'Esquadra received the alert at 1:10 PM.
As a consequence of the impact, the passenger of the car lost their life. The driver of the same vehicle was seriously injured and had to be airlifted to Josep Trueta hospital. The driver and sole occupant of the SUV escaped unharmed.
