In Mataró, protesters began by blocking the C-60 before moving to the C-32 highway, where traffic was halted in both directions. Local Firefighters supported the demonstration by sounding their sirens as teachers marched with banners and whistles to demand educational reforms.
Meanwhile, near Sabadell, approximately 200 people cut off the C-58 highway starting at 7:30 AM. The protest in Sant Quirze del Vallès lasted about an hour before police and protesters began clearing the lanes toward Barcelona.
This marks the fourth day of strikes this week, specifically targeting the Maresme, Vallès, and Girona regions. The educational sector continues to pressure the government following previous tensions during protests held last February.
