The Mossos d'Esquadra, Mataró Local Police, and the Civil Guard launched a major operation early Saturday morning on Cuba Street, resulting in three arrests.

The police action took place in one of the busiest nightlife areas in the Center of the city. During the raid, officers entered three establishments and identified 332 people. Two individuals were detained for drug trafficking, while a third person was arrested due to an outstanding warrant.
Beyond the arrests, the operation led to ten citations for drug possession and three for drug sales. Officers also seized two knives and issued one fine for disrespecting authority. The deployment was highly visible as it occurred during peak hours in the heart of Mataró.
Regarding administrative regulations, inspections revealed tax irregularities in one venue and underage alcohol consumption in another. While these raids are common in industrial areas, this central operation drew significant attention from residents and passersby.
