The Malgrat de Mar City Council has held a working meeting with representatives from the Association of Municipalities for Urban and Transport Mobility (AMTU) to promote improvements in the municipality's urban and interurban mobility.

The meeting, which took place yesterday at midday, was attended by the mayor, Sònia Viñolas, the Councilor for Mobility, Carme Ponsa, and the corporation's general director, Víctor Martínez. Representing AMTU were general director Juan Manuel Segovia, deputy general director of Communication, Organization, and Institutional Relations, Joan Serra, and deputy general director of Technical Affairs, Joan Prat.
One of the main proposals is the implementation of an on-demand transport service. This flexible model, activated when a user requests it, aims to connect the different neighborhoods of the municipality, the Primary Care Center (CAP), points of interest in the town, as well as camping and hotel areas.
Additionally, plans include increasing the frequencies of the 618 bus line, which connects Malgrat de Mar with Barcelona, and the 603 line, which runs from Blanes to the airport.
