The arrest took place at the end of January on the Camí del Pla in Malgrat de Mar, where Local Police officers recovered the Audi RSQ8. This luxury vehicle, which had been stolen in Mataró, is valued at 120,000 euros.
The operation began when the Mossos d’Esquadra detected the car's location thanks to the built-in GPS system, enabling its tracking.
The Catalan police immediately alerted the Malgrat de Mar Local Police, which established a discreet surveillance operation in the area where the vehicle had been located.
The operation culminated with the appearance of the two individuals, who intended to get into the vehicle. At that moment, the officers proceeded to arrest the men for their alleged connection to the theft.
