Mataró launches the 2026 Santes Children's Story Contest with a 300-euro prize

The media group Capgròs Comunicació has announced the 2026 edition of the Manuel Cusachs Santes Story Contest in Mataró, offering a 300-euro prize for the winning entry.

Participants aged 16 and over are invited to submit original children's stories written in Catalan. The narrative must feature the Les Santes festival of Mataró, incorporating its events, characters, or atmosphere as the primary setting.
Submissions must be approximately two pages long and sent digitally by May 10, 2026. The winning story will be professionally illustrated and published in Capgròs magazine and its online portal.
The jury's decision will be revealed on June 1, with the official award ceremony and book presentation scheduled for July 2026, during the city's main annual celebrations.
