The book Espurnes, written by Alejandra Orrit, promises to explore the metaphorical meaning of a 'spark' through the lives of its characters, demonstrating that it can be much more than a small incandescent particle.
“"According to the Gran Diccionari de la llengua catalana, a spark is an incandescent particle that detaches from a body in combustion or from two hard bodies rubbed strongly. Metaphorically speaking, it is a very small portion of something. But the characters in the novel, with their different ways of living, will show us that a spark is much more. They will dazzle you with their striking lives."
The event is part of the cultural agenda of Pineda de Mar and invites attendees to discover the stories the author has created.
