The City Council of Sant Andreu de Llavaneres will receive 319,000 euros from the Generalitat de Catalunya to carry out substantial improvements to its sports facilities, primarily at the Football Field and the Municipal Sports Pavilion.

Mayor Àlex Neira and Sports Councilor Carles Canals met with the director of the Consell Català de l'Esport (Catalan Sports Council), Carme Bastida, to finalize the investment plan. This plan includes an allocation of 319,000 euros for actions within the framework of the Shock Plan for the improvement of sports facilities.
The improvements include the renovation of the multi-purpose pavilion and interventions at the football field to increase its energy efficiency and ensure the watertightness of the changing room building.
Furthermore, the project for the construction of new changing rooms at the municipal sports area of Els Ametllers was discussed. This initiative aims to complete and organize the sports complex, with the creation of a new building adjacent to the existing pavilion, an outdoor multi-purpose court, and the landscaping of the surrounding area. The new building will enhance the organization of access and circulation, differentiating routes for athletes and the public.
Through these investments, the City Council seeks to modernize sports facilities, improve their functionality and energy efficiency, and adapt them to the needs of clubs, organizations, and users. The meeting reinforces the collaboration between the City Council and the Consell Català de l'Esport to drive these improvements.
