The Amposta City Council promotes the SALUTE Festival at L’Era – Comunalitat during January and February 2026 to address mental health through performing arts and collective conversation.

The SALUTE project, driven by the Amposta City Council, Racó de la Festa, Fites, and Cicles, seeks to create synergies between the cultural sphere and community well-being. Mayor Adam Tomàs emphasized that the goal is to improve citizen welfare and move towards a more cohesive society, highlighting the role of theater as a space for care.

"We live in a moment where emotional distress is present in many lives, but it is often experienced through silence and stigma."

Núria Ferré · Amposta Health Councilor
The program kicks off on Friday, January 16 with the concert-recital ‘L’hora que vull’ by Lia Sampai at Sala B, a musical and scenic proposal that will include a subsequent discussion with Escletxa Espai Terapèutic. On January 23, therapist Sergi Ferré will lead the workshop ‘Learn to let yourself be loved’, focusing on emotional dependence.
The festival also promotes body awareness with the dance workshop ‘Powerful body, calm mind’ by Ana Belén Pitarch on January 29. One of the most open public events will be ‘Chairs in the Street! Let's Talk about Mental Health’, held on February 7 in Plaça Cecília Carvalho, featuring dialogue circles on suicide, self-harm, and stigma.
The closing event will be on February 11 at Sala B with the show ‘Estigmes’ (Stigmas), a collective creation by the group Teatre per Créixer with the Club Social Terres de l’Ebre, which will give voice to experiences related to mental health and invite the breaking of prejudices through art.
