The Amposta School of Art and Design (ESARDI) has received international recognition with a grant from the Kronospan Foundation's Skill.ED program, enabling the creation of a state-of-the-art artistic production laboratory at the center.

This Wednesday, April 8, an event was held at the Kronospan company headquarters to formalize the recognition, which places ESARDI among selected educational centers worldwide. The event was attended by representatives of the industrial firm, members of the school's teaching staff, and the mayor of Amposta, Adam Tomàs.

"ESARDI is a small treasure we have with municipal support and that of the Department of Education of the Generalitat, and it is a source of pride that they have received this grant, which places us in the international sphere and, at the same time, will also improve the daily lives of the students."

The awarded proposal includes the implementation of an artistic production laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and technological resources. This space will specialize in artistic and product photography, with professional lighting resources, and will incorporate emerging technologies such as 3D printing and virtual reality.
This technological commitment will allow ESARDI to adapt its students' training to the new challenges of the creative sector, strengthening the connection between education and the productive fabric, and preparing future professionals for the demands of the labor market.
