A total of six cooperatives in the Terres de l’Ebre have obtained funding from the Projectes Singulars subsidy line, promoted by the Department of Business and Work of the Generalitat, with a global allocation of 800,000 euros. These grants aim to promote and consolidate social and cooperative economy initiatives with high social, economic, and territorial impact.
The beneficiary entities cover diverse areas such as agriculture, industry, services, care, and energy transition. The funds must be allocated during 2026 to strategic projects such as growth, innovation, inter-cooperation, or the creation of quality employment, prioritizing those rooted in the territory and contributing to social cohesion and the fight against depopulation in rural areas.
The project with the largest economic volume is that of the Cooperativa Agrícola Catalana i Secció de Crèdit de la Galera, which will receive 418,114.20 euros. This investment will allow for the expansion of the farm shop, the recovery of abandoned market garden fields, and the consolidation of agricultural service brigades. The Cooperativa Terram, which received 90.349,73 euros, also participates in this initiative, exemplifying the collective work model promoted.
In the industrial sector, Serradures will receive 100,000 euros for the AVANTh project, focused on the digital transformation of wooden furniture manufacturing, combining craftsmanship and circular economy. Likewise, Bossell Cooperativa will receive 100,000 euros to reinforce the sustainability of small cooperatives, especially in the care sector, through shared management services.
Regarding the energy transition, SolFlix will obtain 98,516.47 euros to consolidate the Citizen Energy Community of Flix and the Ribera d’Ebre. Finally, the Cooperativa Ninkasi will receive 152.071,50 euros for the Ninkasi Nòmada project, focused on the Terra Alta, which promotes female entrepreneurship and rural community activation with a mobile brewery workshop.
A key element in the success of these projects has been the support of the Ateneu Cooperatiu de les Terres de l’Ebre, which has assisted the entities in defining and preparing the proposals, making it easier for local initiatives to obtain competitive funding.
