3Cat's special programming will include live streaming and television broadcasts, with open connections from various points in the country. The phenomenon, which will have a total duration of 264 minutes, has already begun its journey from the Bering Sea.
The path of totality will cross several oceans and continents before entering the Iberian Peninsula and crossing southern Catalonia. The eclipse's peak is expected near Iceland, while in Catalonia, the duration of totality will be less than two minutes.
