This initiative, which goes beyond mere sports activity, seeks to strengthen linguistic awareness and highlight the unity of the language, fostering citizen participation and social cohesion. The arrival of the flame, scheduled for 12:30 PM, will be the central point of the day.
The program includes the reading of a manifesto by a doctor in Catalan Philology, accompanied by other cultural and festive activities. From 11 AM, the Plaça Major will host an exhibition of dialectal words, an intergenerational meeting between students from Joan Baptista Serra and Marjal schools with the Alcanar Senior Citizens' Association, and the reading of texts with autochthonous vocabulary by students from the Sòl-de-Riu Institute.

The organization calls for the participation of all residents of Alcanar, les Cases, and Alcanar Platja, as well as neighboring towns and anyone interested in joining this celebration.
