The Amposta City Council has formalized seven collaboration agreements with cultural entities in the municipality, with a total financial contribution of 336,000 euros. These agreements recognize the associations' work in promoting culture, music, performing arts, research, and social dynamism in the city.
The symbolic signing ceremony for the agreements took place last Wednesday, June 3rd, in the plenary hall of the town hall, with the presence of representatives from the entities and municipal officials.
The seven entities benefiting from the agreements are the Amposta Musical Society La Lira Ampostina, the Amposta Musical Society La Unió Filharmònica, the Institute of Regional Studies, the Deltachamber Music Festival Association, the Association of Theatre and Circus of Terres de l’Ebre, the Sociocultural Association Tarambana, and the Video Art Game Association.
“"Amposta is a culturally very active city thanks to the involvement and commitment of its entities. From the City Council, we will continue to support them because they are essential for bringing culture to all citizens."
The Mayor of Amposta, Adam Tomàs, highlighted the relevance of these entities in shaping the city's cultural identity and expressed his gratitude for the work they carry out throughout the year.
