The Amposta City Council has hired 12 individuals this March 2026 as part of the Treball i Formació program, an initiative managed by the SOC.

This recruitment falls under the ACOL 2025 line, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus. The participants have secured 12-month full-time contracts that integrate practical work experience with professional training sessions.
The program aims to support the social and labor integration of residents with work permits obtained through social ties. New staff members are working in departments such as the Library, Tax Management, IT, and Cleaning Services.
In addition to their daily duties, workers receive training in social skills, communication, and conflict resolution. The curriculum also includes a food handler certification and personalized guidance to improve their long-term job prospects.
