The town of Amposta will host the puppet performance Bruixanteris on Saturday, February 28th, a production by La Guilla Teatre that celebrates the legacy of traditional female healers.

Scheduled for 6:00 PM at the Unió Filharmònica Auditorium, the event is organized by Xarxa Amposta. The play aims to restore the dignity of women who were historically accused of witchcraft despite their vital role in community health and herbal medicine.
The story explores the intersection between ancient traditions and the digital age. Beyond their knowledge of medicinal plants and ointments, Bruixanteris highlights these women's roles as caregivers, ensuring that their specialized knowledge was passed down through the ages.
Tickets are priced at 7 euros for the general public and 6 euros for Carnet Jove holders and members. They are available online through the Xarxa Amposta website or at the venue's box office thirty minutes before the show starts.
