The project involved transforming a 23-square-meter vacant stall into an open community space. With an investment of 21,592.45 euros, the area now allows customers to consume fresh products purchased directly from market vendors.
“"We want the market to continue being the epicenter of fresh and zero-kilometer products in the city."
Equipped with tables, chairs, and a microwave, the space also features books and games to encourage a family-friendly atmosphere. According to Commerce Councilor Anna Tomàs, the initiative strengthens the market's role as a social and commercial heart of Amposta.
