The Amposta City Council has approved the file to tender the exclusive use concession of the university building, known as the Municipal Auditorium, to host dentistry studies.

The city of Amposta is taking a step forward to host university dentistry studies. The municipal government team has given the green light to the administrative file necessary to initiate the tender procedure for the exclusive use concession of the university building, also known as the Municipal Auditorium. This space currently houses EUSES.
The concession includes an investment of over one million euros for the expansion and adaptation of the building to meet the needs arising from the new educational activity. In exchange for this concession, an annual fee of approximately 71,000 euros will be established, which will be offset by the construction of the expansion during the first 20 years of the agreement.
With the implementation of the Degree in Dentistry, Amposta will become the only university center in the province of Tarragona to offer these studies. The plan is for the new studies to begin in the 2027-2028 academic year.
